My approach is grounded in real-world experience and driven by the belief that education is a powerful catalyst for confidence and competence in care.
As a member of the Liift Learning team, I’m proud to contribute to a purpose-driven organisation that champions the empowerment of people with disability, and to be part of a team that’s shaping compassionate, capable carers through education and mentorship.
Throughout my lengthy nursing career, I’ve been committed to shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals. I’ve had the privilege of teaching at Curtin University, Edith Cowan University, the University of Notre Dame, and North Metropolitan TAFE, facilitating student learning in both classroom and clinical environments. One of the highlights from teaching includes leading health science students from Curtin University on immersive international placements in developing countries, offering not only clinical insights, but also rich cultural exchange and perspective.
