CHCMHS007Work Effectively in Trauma Informed Care
Course Overview
This nationally recognised unit equips workers in the community services and health sectors with the skills and knowledge to understand the impacts of trauma and apply trauma-informed principles in everyday practice.
Participants will explore how trauma, particularly interpersonal violence, can affect behaviour, wellbeing, and engagement with services. They will learn how to provide safe, responsive, and empowering support, while also contributing to the continuous improvement of trauma-informed approaches within their organisation.
