Course Overview
This introductory Dementia Care course is designed for caregivers, nursing staff, support workers, and healthcare professionals in the disability and aged care sectors who provide care for individuals living with dementia. This workshop explores the fundamentals of dementia, its causes, types, and symptoms, while equipping participants with practical skills and strategies to support individuals with dementia in a compassionate and person-centred manner.
